Our story: From personal loss to compassionate support

Learn about the heart behind My Earthly Angels in Heaven, the journey that led us here, and our unwavering commitment to families navigating grief. You are not alone.

Meet our founder, Rev. Dr. Wanda Robinson

My name is Rev. Dr. Wanda Robinson, and I am the Founder and Executive Director of MEAIH™. While my professional journey spans more than thirty years in education, ministry, leadership, and community development, the true foundation of this organization was not built in a classroom or behind a pulpit. It was built through profound personal loss and the grace that followed.

As a mother, I experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing my three-year-old daughter, Melody Denise, to brain cancer. Years later, our family endured another devastating tragedy when my thirty-three-year-old son, Melvin Angelo, was killed in an automobile accident. These losses forever changed our family. They also revealed a painful reality: many grieving families are left to navigate overwhelming emotional, spiritual, practical, and financial challenges with little coordinated support.

During my own grief journey, I encountered countless parents and caregivers carrying similar burdens. MEAIH™ (My Earthly Angels in Heaven) was born from this understanding.

You are not alone in your grief journey

If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, please know that you do not have to walk this journey alone.

My Earthly Angels In Heaven™ (MEAIH™) was born from personal loss, deep faith, and a commitment to helping families find hope during life's most difficult moments. We understand that grief can feel overwhelming, isolating, and confusing. Whether your loss came through illness, violence, an accident, drowning, or another unexpected tragedy, we want you to know that your pain matters and your loved one will never be forgotten.

MEAIH™ exists to provide compassionate support, encouragement, resources, prayer, advocacy, and a caring community that understands the challenges of loss. Our mission is not to rush your healing but to walk alongside you, helping you find strength, comfort, and hope one day at a time.

Most importantly, we want every family to understand that healing is possible, your loved one's memory can be honored in meaningful ways, and there is a community ready to stand with you.

Experience love, compassion, and hope

Beyond the services we provide, our greatest hope is that every person who reaches out to MEAIH™ experiences genuine love, compassion, understanding, and hope.

We want families to feel safe sharing their stories, confident that they will be met without judgment and surrounded by people who truly care. During times of grief and loss, many individuals feel alone, overwhelmed, and uncertain about what comes next. MEAIH™ strives to be a source of comfort and reassurance—a reminder that someone is walking beside them through their pain.

We hope to create a sense of peace in the midst of sorrow, strength in moments of weakness, and hope when the future seems unclear. We want families to feel supported, valued, remembered, and connected to a caring community that honors both their loved one's memory and their healing journey.

Above all, we want every family to leave knowing that they are not alone, that their grief is acknowledged, that their loved one is remembered, and that healing, while a unique process for everyone, is indeed possible.

"My Earthly Angels in Heaven provided a safe and loving space for me to process my grief. Their support made an immeasurable difference during the darkest time of my life."

A grateful family member
